Why do people come and go in the church's? Why do people fall away from God, one day they are in the front row worshiping the next they are at the clubs, or at some crazy rock concert! It's interesting, how many of you have heard a good sermon and then have a hard time recalling what was it about. You see Satan doesn't rest, he will try anything in his power to get your mind off the truth. He's like a thief in the night. And the parable referring to the rocky places is referring to people that are simply followers. They see others going to church, they think.....why not, I'll check it out...but when temptations come, tribulations come they fall away. One of those days.... I think no matter how Christian you think you are and how Godly you think you may be, you will face those shaky days.... Those days when you feel so alone, like as if there isn't a single person on this earth that may be able to help you. Like the God in heaven doesn't hear you. When you start to question everything....when you start to question yourself.... We are emotional creatures and whether you want to feel or not, we aren't able to escape our own bodies, our own flesh. Many attempt to do so, by pouring their emotions into a bottle, or into a broken relationship, but that is all temporary....
