Hello Readers,

I just wanted to briefly discuss how important it is to do what we are called to do…..

I started to post many things on different types of blog sites and Facebook and eventually realized that God had a bigger plan. God gave me a way with words and opened up many things through my daily walks with him. So I decided to make my own Blog site that way I can help people learn about Jesus Christ and his truth.

Many people want to believe in God but lack the true knowledge. Many people are skeptical, and don’t know what to believe, others believe and lack the foundation. Well, my goal is to help people, get to know, grow, and show Gods true divinity.

So here we are….

Enjoy!

Was man created to be alone? We often see priests and monks practicing celibacy and think, how much dedication would it take to be celibate? Does celibacy give man power over his will? Does God call people to be celibate? Celibacy (from Latin, cælibatus) is the state of voluntarily being unmarried, sexually abstinent, or both, usually for religious reasons. It is often in association with the role of a religious official or devotee. In its narrow sense, the term celibacy is applied only to those for whom the unmarried state is the result of a sacred vow, act of renunciation, or religious conviction. In a wider sense, it is commonly understood to only mean abstinence from sexual activity. We see many many religions practicing celibacy such as; Buddhists, Brahma Kumaris, Catholic Church, Hinduism, Etc.. These are just the few of many religions that practice celibacy...So what does the bible say about celibacy? I…

I am pleased this evening, I tell you. Nothing we do in this life is a coincidence. The way you were raised wasn't a coincidence. The way you were conditioned wasn't a coincidence. Everything in this life all has a purpose, the way you stumble, the way you get back up...You have been predestined to act a certain way (Not a Calvinistic pun). God has created you and already has seen the beginning and the end. He has seen your pains and has seen your accomplishments. He has already seen your greatness. But the question is, have you? You are alive and god has given you life, because you have a purpose. I had an opportunity to spend the evening with a friend very dear to me, I enjoy all the relationships God has put into my life, and don't doubt for a second that all of them have purpose.…

Why do people come and go in the church's? Why do people fall away from God, one day they are in the front row worshiping the next they are at the clubs, or at some crazy rock concert! It's interesting, how many of you have heard a good sermon and then have a hard time recalling what was it about. You see Satan doesn't rest, he will try anything in his power to get your mind off the truth. He's like a thief in the night. And the parable referring to the rocky places is referring to people that are simply followers. They see others going to church, they think.....why not, I'll check it out...but when temptations come, tribulations come they fall away. In our generation, this would be something like; your bf/gf broke up with you, or you lost your job, your friends aren't calling you because you are…

Why repent, when you can just live how you want? I've been told I post too much, I've been told I write too much. I've been told that I talk about God too often.... Well, I won't be apologizing, because I don't use social media to please people. I don't use social media to impress anyone, I use social media to spread the word. I use social media to help others if I can, with posts that are uplifting, daily devotionals that break down Biblical scriptures, everyday struggles of life, and so on.... I am not embarrassed to speak the truth, I am not embarrassed that I am a Christian, I am proud to be a Christian... If I regret anything, it's the fact that I wasted too much time in my life neglecting God, too much time living on my own (without God), too much time living for myself…

I heard a very good sermon today. It talked about the difficulties and ups an downs of our spiritual life. I've never really thought about it this way, but many people think that they are the only ones that struggle with as much sin as they do in their life. But we have to remember that we are all human and all people struggle with sin, although many are attracted to different types of sin, doesn't change its all relevant. As I discussed earlier this week, that sin is a daily battle, we have to remember that the minute we wake up we enter a battle field. A field that although we may not see, sees us. Equipping yourself starts the minute you wake up, the armor you put on will give you the ability to shield and defend yourself against the temptations of daily life. The term that was…

One of those days.... I think no matter how Christian you think you are and how Godly you think you may be, you will face those shaky days.... Those days when you feel so alone, like as if there isn't a single person on this earth that may be able to help you. Like the God in heaven doesn't hear you. When you start to question everything....when you start to question yourself.... We are emotional creatures and whether you want to feel or not, we aren't able to escape our own bodies, our own flesh. Many attempt to do so, by pouring their emotions into a bottle, or into a broken relationship, but that is all temporary.... We can't truly escape who we are, we can't truly escape what we feel, in order to grow we must face life first hand. We must deal with ourselves In our worst state…

I got the opportunity to stare temptation square in the eye today.... Many people think that temptation can be so easily avoided. All you have to do is be strong...or all you to do is use your will power. Well, I have some news for you, unless you are Jesus and are without sin, you aren't temptation-proof! Although, even Jesus got tempted by Satan, when Jesus was hungry, Satan asked him why he didn't turn the rocks into stone....he replied that man does not live on bread alone but on the word of God. When Jesus was on the hill, Satan tempted him to throw himself off the mountain so that God may save him...he responded with do not test your God. Satan even offered Jesus all the things of the world. If only he would bow to him....and he said I only bow to my father who is in…

Distractions of life: We live in a world were everyone is fueled by money, looks, popularity, acceptance, etc...We spend a majority of our time worrying about how we look, and what others will think of us. We spend countless hours at the shopping malls picking out outfits for events where we will be judged based on our appearance. Then, we spend countless hours prepping ourselves for those events, to await judgement... We spend years at the gym; toning, shaping, carving ourselves...to make others proud of us. We think this will help us be accepted. We think this will cure our irrational insecurities. We spend years in schools, colleges, universities...pursuing education, intellect, identity, or recognition. We spend a lifetime proving to other that's we are smart, we are talented, we are one of a kind.....we push and push our entire lives to impress as many people as we can, and hope…

Can a believer forfeit salvation? Please share your view, I like when people engage in these topics. Many Christians I have met, don't actually know the depths of the Bible. It shocks me how little the average Christian knows about his own belief system. Atheists actually know more about scripture than Christians do. I recently read a commentary in a Bible and it said these words in reference to a verse. "No matter how much of your deeds are worthless, no believer will forfeit salvation." Just to briefly familiarize people with the text. There is a debatable topic that has been floating amongst the Christian groups, called Calvinism and Arminianism. These categories are referring to two major views: Calvinism- the theological system of Calvin and his followers marked by strong emphasis on the sovereignty of God, the depravity of humankind, and the doctrine of predestination. Arminianism- of or relating to Arminius…

When you arise and the first thing on your mind is Gods word, that means you ended your night well. I wanted to start off this morning asking a question. If you stood in front of God would you be proud or embarrassed? If your answer is embarrassed, then join the rest of us. Let me ask you a question, now deeply let this resonate in your head. Would you ever work for free, imagine this, you arrive at work, and the employer says you must work for the first 2 years wage free. Would you still consider this position? Well, how about this, if you worked for an entire year and you were promised a significant bonus and received nothing, would you be upset? Imagine working your entire life to become a doctor and then you were stripped of all your accomplishments. Many of us think that this life…
