Gods Mission: The Great Commission
Our goals can differ from Gods goals. We think that God simply wants us to be obedient and not sin. However, it is so much more than that. To be obedient means to stay out of sin but it also means to listen to Gods commands…and I am not referring to the 12 commandments. But I am referring to the great commission. I think that this is our sole purpose on this earth. Yes, you can live a simple life and go to church and attend a Bible study group and even participate in church a few times a year. But I believe that this isnt enough.
The Great Commission
16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17 And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[b] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matt 28:16)
This means that our greatest calling on this earth is not to be sinless but to spread the gospel to others. And what better way to do this than through the Bible Outreach approach.
Our Mission:
This video will help explain the vision of the Bible Outreach Group. Our goal is to hand out 100,000 Bibles in the next 5-years. We are a non-profit foundation and all Bibles will not be sold. We will not be creating any specific way to raise fund for this mission, but simply rely on personal resources and the grace of God. We have already been immensely blessed and know that God will continue to pour out his blessings on our future plans and goals.
How Bible Outreach works?:
We will order 10,000 Bibles in the next 6 weeks after our manufacturers supplies us with our Bibles. We will recruit some moderators and Administrators that want to help manage this group and our goals. We will hand out Bibles to people that have a desire to share Gods truth with others. This will be done very easily – you sign up as a volunteer or as a guest. A volunteer will be able to get his hands on bigger quantities of Bibles and he will have a chance to find homes for these Bibles. This can be done through similar venues we have done such as; jail centers, rehab centers, etc. Or you will have an opportunity to create their own venues or Goals. We will supply the Bibles and allow people to get involved however they see fit. Maybe you just have a neighbor that you want to bring to the lord and have no way of doing this. This will be a simple guest request – we are here to help others. You can email us a name and an address and we will mail them a Bible with a personal note attached to it (written in the email) and mail it out to them.
